"Eid on the block" Styling

As lovers of culture and creativity, we wanted to celebrate the end of Ramadan in a unique and artistic way. To do so, we organized a special photoshoot that would present traditional religious events with a modern twist.

For this project, we combined traditional clothing - such as the Abaya and Jelabiyah - with designer accessories from Gucci and Prada. To add an extra contemporary edge, we paired these outfits with sneakers from Asics, Adidas, and Nike. This mixture of tradition and modernity highlighted the versatility of cultural fashion in today’s world.

Our chosen location was in the northern part of Munich, where we set up a scene on a rooftop of a housing block. We arranged camping chairs and carpets to create a cozy and authentic ambiance, perfectly capturing the essence of celebration and togetherness.

On the day of Eid, we shared the final photos on Instagram, allowing our audience to experience the beauty of this tradition. The response was very positive, reinforcing our belief in the power of creative expression in cultural storytelling.
